EVERY FACE HAS A SONG

Lincoln Motors embraces individuality. That’s why we took personalization to new heights by developing a digital platform that uses one’s facial traits to create unique music masterpieces for the upcoming Grammy Awards.

We partnered with sound engineers and design architects to build a first-of-its-kind facial recognition feature that translated unique facial characteristics into distinct sounds. The result was fantastic musical selfies unique to each person’s face.

The digital platform was launched on February 2015 in support of a Grammy’s media campaign. It generated more than 50,000 impressions in one day, and millions of unique songs were created.

 

HUMAN TECHNOLOGY

The Music Selfie Experiment became the perfect example on how an experience can be tailored to each individual, as no face is the same, and no song was replicated. Developing technology that adapts to users, and not the other way around, is the best way to deliver more functional and compelling experiences.
